uHoo Caeli

About the device

No. Core monitoring works without any subscription, forever. You get real-time readings across all 9 parameters, instant alerts, your full air quality history, and the app from the moment you plug it in. Guard and Command are optional top-ups you can try free for 3 months when you buy Caeli.

Nine indoor air quality parameters: CO₂, PM2.5, VOCs, humidity, temperature, air pressure, NO₂, CO, and ozone. All nine are measured every minute and appear live in the app.

Yes, Caeli requires a continuous Wi-Fi connection for real-time monitoring and alerts. If your Wi-Fi drops, it stores up to 24 hours of data locally and uploads everything automatically once reconnected, so your history stays complete.

Yes. In your router logs you may see Caeli disconnect and reconnect about once a minute. That is part of the device's energy-saving feature and not a fault.

No. Caeli checks for new firmware every 24 hours and installs updates automatically.

Reset your Caeli and set it up again with the new network. This article walks you through resetting.

The gas sensors need a warm-up period on first use. CO₂ needs at least 48 hours of continuous use, while VOC, NO₂, and ozone each need at least 24 hours. If the device is turned off or loses power, the warm-up restarts. Readings will fluctuate during this period and can be ignored.

It deletes the Wi-Fi network stored on the device and returns Caeli to setup mode so you can connect it to a different network. It does not delete your account or air quality history.

Caeli uses professional-grade sensors across all nine parameters. See the full accuracy table in the Technical Specifications section on the Caeli page.

Full connectivity specifications for Caeli are available here.

Guard & Command

Guard and Command top-ups

Guard and Command are optional top-ups that add intelligence layers on top of Caeli's core monitoring. Guard is the full health intelligence layer, giving you four proprietary indices (Mold, Virus, Influenza, and Pollen) plus Discomfort and AQI, hourly trend charts, weekly and monthly comparisons, date comparison, time-of-day patterns, room comparison, household profiles, and a web dashboard, at $79/year. Command is the smart home automation layer, connecting Caeli to Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and Home Assistant so air quality can trigger your smart devices automatically, at $59/year. Stacked bundles both for $99/year, saving $39.

Guard is uHoo's health intelligence add-on for Caeli. It gives you four proprietary indices (Mold, Virus, Influenza, and Pollen) plus Discomfort and AQI, hourly trend charts, weekly and monthly comparisons, date comparison across any parameter, time-of-day pattern summaries, room comparison across all your Caeli devices, household profiles tailored to who lives in your home, and a web dashboard at web.getuhoo.com. Where Caeli tells you what is in your air, Guard tells you what it means.

Command connects Caeli to your smart home so air quality can trigger your devices automatically. It integrates with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and Home Assistant. You set IF/THEN rules from any of Caeli's 9 air parameters. When CO₂ climbs, ventilation switches on. When humidity drops, the humidifier kicks in. Your home acts on bad air before you notice it.

Stacked bundles Guard and Command together at $99/year, saving $39 versus buying both separately. You get the full health intelligence layer and the full smart home automation layer in one plan.

When you buy Caeli, both Guard and Command activate immediately for 3 months. Not a trial. The full thing. Before month 3 ends, we send you a reminder. Keep both with Stacked at $99/year, choose just the one you want, or do nothing and they both turn off. No charge either way.

Caeli alone gives you the full picture of what is in your air right now — nine parameters, live readings, instant alerts, and your complete history. Guard goes further. It takes everything Caeli measures and turns it into health intelligence: six daily indices, hourly trend charts, weekly and monthly comparisons, date comparison, time-of-day patterns, room comparison, household profiles, and a web dashboard. Caeli tells you what is in your air. Guard tells you what it means, tracks how it changes, and helps you act on it.

Yes. You can add Guard or Command at any time from your dashboard. No new hardware needed. Activates immediately.

All billing is managed at getuhoo.com. Log in to your account, go to Settings, and you will find your subscription details there. Guard and Command are not billed through the App Store or Google Play.

Caeli integrates with Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and Home Assistant out of the box. However, IF/THEN automation rules that trigger your smart devices based on specific air quality readings require Command.

Devices & rooms

Devices and rooms

While you can move your device from room to room, we recommend one per room for accurate, 24/7 coverage of your whole home.

Each additional Caeli is $249, up to 10 devices per account. All managed from the same app. Add-ons (Guard, Command, Stacked) are priced per device: Guard $79/year, Command $59/year, Stacked $99/year per device.

Yes. You can connect up to 10 Caeli devices per account, all managed from the same app.

Air quality varies from room to room. The nursery and the home office never have the same air. Monitoring multiple spaces gives you a complete picture of your home so you can improve comfort, sleep, and health across every room.

Yes. The uHoo app shows every room in real time. Guard users can also access the room comparison dashboard to see all rooms side by side with index scores, temperature, and humidity.

We recommend one Caeli for every 50 to 80 square meters (550 to 850 square feet) of open space.

Yes. Tap the "..." in the upper right of the screen and select Share. Add the new email address, then tap Transfer Ownership to move the device to a new account.

Features & app

Features and the app

Yes. You get real-time push notifications whenever a parameter crosses a threshold, with a plain-language explanation of what changed and what to do about it. Alerts are a core Caeli feature — no top-up needed.

Caeli integrates with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and Home Assistant. IF/THEN automation rules from air quality parameters require Command.

Yes. Core features update automatically. Guard and Command users also receive new indices, analytics improvements, and integration updates as they roll out.

Yes. In the app, tap the menu icon in the upper left, tap your name to open your profile, and you will find the option to change your email there.

Yes, but only after Caeli has been set up on an existing Wi-Fi network first. A brand-new device that has not been set up yet will not connect to a hotspot. Here is how to do it.

Billing

Billing

Guard and Command are billed annually and renew automatically. Guard is $79/year, Command is $59/year, Stacked (both together) is $99/year. All billing is at getuhoo.com, not through the App Store or Google Play.

We accept major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX, and other payment options depending on your region.

Prices are displayed in USD by default, but your total will automatically convert to your local currency at checkout.

Your Caeli device and core monitoring stay active. You will lose access to the Guard or Command features when the billing period ends, but your air quality history and core readings remain yours.

Data & privacy

Data and privacy

Your data belongs to you. Everything Caeli measures is encrypted end-to-end and never sold or shared with any third party.

Exporting is not available on home plans. You can view your full data history anytime directly in the app or, with Guard, on the web dashboard at web.getuhoo.com.

Email us at hello@getuhoo.com with your question. You can also tap the "i" icon in the upper right of the app for context on each parameter and tips to improve it.
